Over a four week period in January and February, I attended the Women in Business leadership Speaker Series that was presented by the Tempe Chamber of Commerce. In my other Blog, I highlighted to speakers and their presentations–each Wednesday a new article comes available.
Here, however, I want to share something else that was AMAZING during the event. Some of the breakfasts were catered by Sweetest Season Bakery Cafe in Tempe, AZ. The business is owned by former Tempe Chamber of Commerce VP Melody Elkin and her husband and has been open since December 2016.
Sweetest Season Bakery Cafe offers breakfast and lunch, meeting trays and coffee, and specialty gifts and baskets. They got their start building their authentic “Mom & Pop Dream” by gaining fans at farmers markets in the Phoenix metro area. The key to success? A creative menu using fresh, seasonal ingredients, in a scratch kitchen!
