July 2018. About 70 miles southeast of Springfield, Illinois, lies the town of Ramsey. As we explored the state, we came across their wonderful Veterans Memorial. The memorial sits outside the local American Legion Hall.
The memorial consists of a number of obelisks containing the names of Veterans from the area who served their country during various conflicts and wars. Included is a guide that allows visitors to look up a Veteran's name to locate where his or her name may be found in the memorial.
