Arizona Veterans Employment Representatives (LVER and DVOP)

ARE YOU A VETERAN LIVING IN ARIZONA? If so, there are organizations and programs poised and ready to help you make the transition from your military career to a career in the private or public (government civilian jobs) sector. Many of these resources include local representatives to assist you in navigating the employment journey but also have resources to assist you in finding employment across the nation. 

There are Local Veterans Employment Representatives (LVER) and Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOP) offices across the country. For information on the nearest office to you, please check the following links:

  • AZ Department of Economic Security Programs for Veterans The mission of the Veterans Staff is to help veterans, reservists, and National Guard members secure employment (and the rights and services associated with such) through existing programs. Services provided are to be consistent with the changing needs of employers and the eligible veteran population.

  • AZ Department of Veterans Services The Arizona Department of Veterans Services (DVS) is a state agency with offices located throughout Arizona that provides direct assistance in all matters pertaining to benefits and entitlements of Veterans, their Dependents, and Survivors. DVS is responsible to apprise Veterans and their Families residing in Arizona of the Federal and State benefits available to them.

  • Arizona State Veteran Home - Phoenix The Arizona State Veteran Home (ASVH) is a 200 bed licensed and skilled nursing facility located at 4141 N. Third Street, Phoenix, Arizona. This is a State owned and operated facility built to serve the long-term needs of the Veterans of Arizona.

  • Arizona State Veteran's Home - Tucson Arizona's newest Veterans Home site is located adjacent to the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (VA Hospital) in Tucson.

  • The American Legion Providing advocacy, education, family assistance, career services, financial assistance, moral/emotional support, medical discount programs and more for this membership-based organization.

  • Blinded Veterans Association We are an organization specifically established to promote the welfare of blinded Veterans. We are here to help Veterans and their families meet the challenges of blindness.

  • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs - Arizona Listing of Arizona Health Centers, Vets Centers, and VA administrative offices. Our goal is to provide excellence in patient care, veterans' benefits and customer satisfaction. We have reformed our department internally and are striving for high quality, prompt and seamless service to veterans. Our department's employees continue to offer their dedication and commitment to help veterans get the services they have earned. Our nation's veterans deserve no less.

  • US Department of Veterans Affairs - Homeless Veterans All Veterans at risk for homelessness or attempting to exit homelessness must have easy access to programs and services. The VA offers a variety of resources, programs, and benefits.
