Nestled in Globe, Arizona is a fascinating archaeological site that is nearly 1,000 years in the making. This site is called Besh Ba Gowah and was the heartland of the Salado people between 1225 and 1400 CE. The site is a self-guided tour, but includes a small museum that has numerous historical exhibits and artifacts excavated from the site over the years.
